What We Provide
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Consulting
Our consulting services are designed to enhance orthopedic rehabilitation through expert mentoring, second opinions on complex cases, and tailored protocol development for post-operative patients.
Evidence-Based Orthopedic Care
With years of experience focused only in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, we provide the highest standard of care based on evidence and experience. After over a decade of seeing patients with varying orthopedic conditions, Sarah has robust experience in patient-specific treatments. This aids in a smooth rehab process.
Collaborative Approach
We emphasize collaboration among healthcare professionals. Sarah previously worked as a PT integrated into an orthopedic clinic working alongside sports medicine doctors and surgeons. She spent years working with these amazing professionals, and this deepened her understanding of best practice. She fostered lifelong relationships and finds joy in comprehensive care with all professionals (surgeons, MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, etc). This collaboration insures that the patient has an excellent experience.
Objective and Return to Sport/Activity Testing
Sarah has run hundreds of sport-clearing tests. She believes in combining objective findings with quality of movement assessments. She previously aided in rehabilitating a local division 1 sports program including spending time in their training room for 2 years. She has confidently returned hundreds of athletes back to very high levels - even as high as the Olympic level. She values all levels of activity and enjoys helping patients return to what they love to do regardless of their athletic goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes you stand apart from other clinics?
Our experience. Sarah spent years at a speciality hopsital where rehabilitation filtered into specific teams. This means she saw only orthopedic injuries and not other types of therapy, allowing her to become great at one area. Her skill was developed through hundreds of collected repetitions, collaboration experience with renown surgerons/doctors/PAs/PTs, and a drive to be the best version of herself each day.
Who should be seen?
Anybody with an orthopedic or sports-related injury including:
Spine
Shoulders both surgical/non surgical
Hip both surgical/non surgical (including THA)
Knee both surgical/non surgical (including TKA)
Ankle/Foot both surgical/nonsurgical
Specialty injuries including (but not limited to): tendon injuries/ruptures, sports hernias, acute pain
Why Does Isokinetic Strength Testing Matter?
The American Physical Therapy recommends that patients demonstrate adaquete strength before returning to higher level activities. Research indicates that isokinetic testing is the gold standard for testing strength. Sarah has used isokinetic testing throughout her career to help analyze patient's baselines, assess where their pain could be coming from, and track change/improvement. She does not use it just for athletes - but for all people!
What is the process for developing rehabilitation protocols?
Sarah collaborated closely with healthcare professionals to create customized rehabilitation protocols that align with best practices and the latest research. At Manning PT, we know how to balance safety through both research and personal experience, navigating complex conversations to unite the professions for a common goal of improved patient outcomes.
